TIFFIN, Ohio — VoteVets, a national veterans organization that supports veterans in public service and advocates for veterans and military families, has endorsed Aaron Jones in his campaign for State Representative in the 88th House District.

In announcing the endorsement, VoteVets praised Jones’ commitment to continued public service.

“VoteVets is proud to support veterans like Aaron who are stepping forward to continue their service beyond the uniform,” the organization said in a statement. “At a time when our communities and our democracy face real challenges, veterans bring proven leadership, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to the Constitution and the country.”

Jones is a U.S. Army veteran who served as an Airborne Infantryman with the 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment — the Old Guard, the Army’s official ceremonial unit based in Washington, D.C.

“I’m honored to receive the endorsement of VoteVets,” Jones said. “Serving in the Army taught me that leadership means responsibility, discipline, and showing up for the people who depend on you. Those are the same values I’ll bring to Columbus as I work to represent the people of Seneca and Sandusky counties.”

VoteVets works to elevate the voices of veterans and military families in public life and supports veterans who choose to continue serving their communities through elected office.

Jones said his military experience shaped how he approaches leadership and service.

“Service doesn’t end when you take off the uniform,” Jones said. “I’m running to continue serving my community and to make sure the people of this district have a strong voice in Columbus.”

Jones is running for the Ohio House of Representatives in the 88th District, which includes Seneca and Sandusky counties.
